The Aarohanam Hanging Lamp is a pure brass vilakku shaped in the traditional South Indian style - elegant in form, timeless in presence. Its name, Aarohanam, means “rising,” echoing the upward movement of flame and spirit.

Suspended from a polished brass chain, it embodies simplicity and sanctity. When lit with sesame oil or ghee, it catches the warm gold of the flame, making it ideal for verandahs, altars, and quiet spaces of meditation.

Crafted from solid brass and finished with a bright polish, this lamp carries the classic silhouette found across many South Indian homes. With time, it will develop a natural patina, as all brass does, softening into a deeper, lived-in character.
